Astro Cricket is a Malaysian television channel owned and operated by Astro and Radio Televisyen Malaysia. This channel was launched in 2015 to add depth to the network’s sports coverage after the launch of Astro Arena, the company’s flagship sports channel.
Over the years, Astro Cricket has been known for being a sports channel with a strong focus on airing cricket tournaments, news, and highlights. Most of the content included in this channel’s grid has been related to international competitions, although there might be some domestic cricket tournaments aired on this channel.
Astro Cricket was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but its parent company decided to develop HD feeds for all its channels, and Astro Cricket’s HD version saw the light on October 1, 2021. Both feeds may still be available to watch on different pay-tv carriers.
